Our 2001 Vacation
As our lives go we were destined for another summer at home with no vacation.Trying to get our schedules together the last few years has been hectic.
BUT...
We were trying to get tickets to see Philadelphia play a game this year and tickets did not seem to be available. A few days before the pre-season Titans game I checked for availablity and sure enough tickets were there, so we bought the tickets and made the arrangments in a few short hours.
The Titans stadium was as nice as this picture taken from our room across the street.
Do you see the top rows?? We were in them (four rows down) !

We arrived a few hours before the game started and enjoyed our motel until game time.

The game was exciting and if you want a play by play you will have to ask Scott. I was busy taking pictures and catching my breath from the climb to our seats. LOL
We had a wonderful time and I am sure glad the Eagles Won !
The next morning we visited downtown Nashville and stopped by the Hard Rock Cafe and walked along the river and took in the sites.

Then it was on to a stop in Kentucky for a tour of Mammouth Cave.

I lived in Cave City for awhile in my past and younger life and had made this tour before and I sure don't remember it being so strenuous that many years ago.
We decided to stay over in Kentucky for another night and head home the next morning.

It sure was fun to get away for a few days, but then getting home was a welcome site also.
It didn't take long before Scott was back working on the yard trying to catch up.
