Christmas 2000 with The Featherston's

Christmas 2000 came with lots of snow.

My mom arrived on the 19th as planned.
The snow caused some delays in her flight schedule,
but an hour late was not out of the ordinary for the airlines this year.
This year she spent three days with us and we spent most of that time shopping.
(I never have my shopping done until a few days before Christmas.)
On Wednesday...
Tash,Mom and I walked the mall and had lunch at Steak and Shake.
We went to Trisha's after shopping and she fixed us a nice dinner.
Tanda was not there with us that night, but we watched old video tapes.
Tanda has always had a lot of imagination as we saw in the old tapes.
What a nice evening Trish! Thank You!
Mom was up past her bedtime that night.

On Thursday....
we went shopping again and met Tammy and Greg for lunch at Ryan's Steak House.
We came home from shopping and fixed dinner and watched 'Home Alone'on TV.
(Can you believe she had never seen that movie?)
On Friday....
we met Sue and Erv in Plainfield
and had breakfast at Cracker Barrel in front of the fireplace.
Travis graduated from the Indiana Police Academy that day.

Christmas morning we were with Trish and her family.
We arrived after the Santa festivities,
but we didn't miss seeing the surprises Santa had brought.
Trisha fixed Christmas breakfast for all of us.

It was on to Indianapolis after breakfast.
Tasha went with Jason to visit with his family.
However....
She ended up with us in Indy before the day was over.
Someone and we won't say who, forgot to bring the presents.
Tash volunteered to bring them,
but we know she is 'special' and we were glad her and Jason joined us.
Shane went with his dad to see his Grandma & Grandpa Smith.
Darnell's boys went with their mom.
